A prayer for the Lutheran Church in Norway church planting mission\u2026.<\/h3>\n

Lord God almighty. In the book of Matthew chapter 28, You have commanded us to go forth and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. In the book of Acts chapter 14, we are told \u201cHow will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!\u201d Lord, please provide pastors who are willing to go out and teach and preach the Gospel to those who need to hear it. Provide pastors who are willing to be bold for you Lord. Give them the strength to persist, the wisdom to teach Your truth, and the patience to allow the Holy Spirit to work within those people to whom the Gospel has been shared. We pray all of this in Jesus\u2019 holy name. That\u2019s why they started the Ad-Fontes chaplaincy training program in 2007. Ad-Fontes teaches chaplaincy students how to successfully plant and grow new congregations in a post-Christian era. Ad-Fontes trained ten men during 2023 to become pastors.<\/p>\n

Ad-Fontes students learn theology during their first 3-5 years. This detailed study is followed by their final year of study in the United States at one of the Concordia Seminaries of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, after which time they graduate and are ordained as pastors.<\/p>\n
